MCKINNEY MOVES: SMALL TOWN CHARM, BIG TIME VALUE

McKinney has a downtown square straight out of a postcard, with brick storefronts, string lights, and a coffee shop on every corner that somehow all stay in business. It is the kind of place that makes you slow down, which is a little ironic since it is also one of the busiest housing markets in the Dallas area right now.

Buyers love McKinney because it offers variety. Historic homes near the square, quiet cul-de-sacs in established neighborhoods, and brand new builds on the edges of town all exist within the same city limits. Add in strong schools and easy access to major highways, and it is easy to see why so many families put down roots here and never look back.

Sellers benefit from that same demand. McKinney homes that are priced right and show well tend to move quickly, especially anything within walking distance of the square or zoned to sought after schools. The market rewards preparation, and a little staging goes a long way here.

McKinney proves that charm and value are not opposites, sometimes the small town square really does hold the big time deal.
